WT in Denmark lost case

today i have heard that wt and the acussed man of childabuse have lost a case against tv2 in denmark.

it was about the tv program dags dato th 24 november 2002. .

the case began short after the program.

Actually, I'm not at all amzed that the wt continues to stand behind those types. They don't have the truth and they are not God's People, and the sooner this message gets out to the organization, the better. When they stand by a person like that, knowing all the person's faults, and yet not admitting to knowing them, that makes them liars besides.

So the phrase, "stand by your Child Molester": can be stated in more eloquent language, which would make this column worse than porn, but I think you get the message.

Harley Miller Died

i heard from my mom that harley miller died in california -- apparently -- today.

i understand he had gone there for a pacemaker, but died before he could get it.. he had an article in the wt or awake 10 -12 years ago.

although i didn't know him, he sounded like a pretty decent fellow.. fp

P>I really do feel bad about situations which arise out of the ignorance of the wt. ; I know that injustice is practiced on all levels of this horrible cult. ; My best friend was the wife of an elder, and this elder was hot to trot for ;their daughter, and my friend knew it and was jealous but could do nothing about it. ; The daughter ran away from home on Mother's day in 1994, and upon returning home, begging for helpl from her parents, she was disfellowshipped. ; My friend was not allowed by the elders to help her, and she said I could not talk to her because she was disfellowshipped. ; I told her that the daughter needed encouragement and she should know that I had been glad to see her and the mom should tell her. ; In 1995, I had moved to southern california, and she wrote me a letter, saying that he daughter had been aaked to leave the house again, after having a party with a cousin, and I wrote back that her daughter needed help getting off drugs. ; She never wrote me back. ; A month later, I left the org, and did not care if she wrote me or not. ; I sent the daughter tracts from a program called Teen Challenge, and since I had to send it to the parents' house, not knowing any other address, I have no idea what transpired from it.

I pray for her, and my friend and my frieds's two other children, that they get out of there and fast. ; That is my prayer for all my friends who are still in there, and being brainwashed by the cult.

JW Bro-in law dies

sunday my brother-in-law, loyd gardiner, died.

he was an elder in the richmond, indiana congregation for about 50 years.. my son and i are having real problems deciding what to do.

we had decided not to go to the services because almost everyone there will be jws and we do not see the need to expose ourselves to the rude treatment by them.. i got a phone message last night from someone, not baptized jw, who thought we should go to the viewing today, to show "our respects".

I think it's so sad when we can't attend the funeral or the wedding of someone whom we love, because of some lies that are told to us by people who think they are right and everybody else is wrong. Even yet, I think it's even more sad that a Jehovah's Witness dies without knowing the truth; even thinking that they do know the truth and they don't. That is why I want my friend Alisha to go to Teen Challenge and get help from her drug problem, and I want her mother Debbie to know that I love her and want her to get out of there and get her other two children out of there. She has Lupus and she gets very sick, and those people won't help her unless she does exactly what they say, and she is getting worse and they don't care.

Now that I have said that, I want everybody to know that it's okay to go to the funerals of those you love, because they are in a better place than even Jehovah's Witnesses want for them, and it's okay to go to the weddings of those you love, because in doing that, you are supporting their getting married and not shacking up as is the habit of many of these young people.

Please never forsake your family just because of any church.

Jehovah's Witnesses have an unhealthy habit of waiting until iti's too late to go for treatment, and that's probably why it happened. And it's so sad to think he was a nice guy, and he never learned the truth.

When I was a jw, I think what I was most afraid of was being hurt. I did everything to keep myself from getting hurt. I banged on doors with the best of the Pioneers. I went to all the meetings, so everybody would like me. I was a doormat. I even taught my son to raise his hand and give answers to questions. My husband, who was a factor in getting me to join the WT, told me it was my fault that he didn't go to meetings. He told other sisters a different story. He told them that he refused to go to meetings until he could stop looking at women and imagining them in the altogether. The first time I heard him say this, I did not know what to think. Then when he said he wanted to get baptized, I simply figured that he had licked his problem. But a year later, he said it again to another sister. I guess this was his problem; he only wanted to tell this to sisters. I know a lot of sisters were scared of him, but so was I. I was scared that he would hurt me, and I was scared that other sisters would hurt me, too, so I was a doormat. It takes a long time, when you've been a doormat all your life, to stop yourself from being one.

Thanks to Jesus, I am no longer a doormat.

I don't know what to do in a situation that involves illness that runs in families. Let me explain. My husband, who introduced me to Jesus Christ at a time when I needed Him in my life, has a condition which he inherited from his dad, who died of it. My husband is taking medication and has it under control. Now, my stepson has manifested the first signs of it, and my mother-in-law is in denial; she does not want to accept that he has it.

I am anticipating the Christmas Holidays, and the surrounding celebrations; my mother-in-law will be taking care of her husband, who is having surgery, and I will be handling it myself. My husband has a troublesome brother, who has tried to become involved in the situation, and I don't feel he needs to be. My stepson's mother, whom I am constantly in touch with, does not want "our son" to be involved with this brother, and I don't blame her.

Can anyone suggest a polite rebuff in case something goes wrong?

I think you wrote this poem out of the despair of hearing the JW theory about death; that they just are six feet under and they are waiting for some obsolete thing to happen, and then they will be resurrected and life will be better than it has ever been, but for now, the dead are just in this coffin that is buried into the ground, with no feeling, no thoughts, just dead. Is that how they have taught you? I remember they used to shove that stuff down our throats and tell us that if we didn't believe that way, that we were speaking against the brothers, and that is a disfellowshipping offense.

God is not like their Jehovah. He is loving and kind even to the lost and the homeless; would you believe I was homeless and this was when I was a Jehovah's Witness? A regular Pioneer threw me out of her house, because I did not have thirty dollars. I lived in my car for three months, and then for aboaut five years in a travel trailer. When I did not have a car, nobody would even pick me up to go to the meeting or shopping or anything.

I found out that God is going to take His Church up with Him to Heaven, and we don't even have to go through the Tribulation!

Isn't that wonderful??

im scared....im trying to think for my self and make my own decisons on the jw religin.but everytime i go to meetings,they scare me with all the armaggendon bull,and makes me feel bad for wanting to date and do"normal things".i mean i want to think for myself,it just seems like they think for you....you have to this and follow that because the wts says so.

and bullshit to loving and kindness in the congregation could have fooed me!!

 I had my own problems;the elders were not too nice to me,

either. I think what you need is to be able to vent your

frustrations and have someone give you some advice.

 The fear you are having is somewhat the same as what I went

 through when I was young as well.

I had a boyfriend who really loved me, and my mom didn't

like him. Every time I was seen with him, my mom found out

about it. It was awful. I still have flashbacks about

it.

If this young man you were hugging really likes you,

he will wait until the time is right,

and then ask you to marry him.

 If he doesn't, the relationship won't last, and it's best

to find that out now before you commit yourself to a

life of ruin.

Don't let the elders intimidate you. There are better things

 in life than the Jw organization. You will find out for

yourself that they don't really have the truth.

 They are not God's people. God's people are wonderful

Christian people, who love the poor and the lost and take

them in and introduce them to Jesus.
